Mikeisha’s Baby Blanket

It took me 3 years, but I’ve finally done it – I wrote up the pattern for the blanket I made to welcome my darling niece Mikeisha into the world.

This has become my go-to pattern for baby blankets. I can start as soon as I hear about the new baby – no time wasted in waiting to hear if it will be a boy or a girl. I usually make it in white or light grey and add a pink/blue/white/grey/red ribbon.

But let me tell you a secret…I try to always have a finished one in my gift-box – when it is time for the baby shower I simply add the ribbon and voila! Handmade, special, even compliments the nursery room decor, but none of the stress to finish it in time.

The popcorn stitch gives a beautiful texture to the blanket. And it is super-easy to make! The border requires intermediate skills, but the pattern has over 40 step-by-step photo’s for the border to guide an adventurous beginner.

As usual, you can get 75% discount as an introductory offer for this versatile baby blanket pattern – use coupon code OR75MBIO on Ravelry .

But hurry, this offer ends on 4 July!
